Dogs are popular, to say the least. How popular, you ask? A recent survey showed that about 60 million households in the United States own dogs with around 90 million dogs in total. That’s a lot of dogs and a lot of dog breeds.
But what breeds top the list? As the year winds down, it’s time to share which breeds were most popular in 2018. According to the American Kennel Club (AKC), the top breed last year was the Labrador Retriever with 88,547 registered.
